Our regulatory status

Apex Mortgage Advisory is an Appointed Representative of [Network Name], which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA FRN: XXXXXX).

Scope of our service

We offer advice on mortgages from a comprehensive range of lenders, and we will recommend the product we consider most suitable for your needs and objectives. We do not advise on every product available in the market — for example, deals available only directly from lenders.

Fees and remuneration

We typically charge a fee for mortgage advice. The exact amount depends on your circumstances; our typical fee is £499, payable on application. We will also usually receive a procuration fee from the lender.

Cancellation

You may cancel our service at any time before a mortgage offer is issued. Fees already incurred for work carried out may remain payable, as set out in your Initial Disclosure Document.

Complaints

Write to hello@apexmortgages.co.uk or 1 Kingsway, London WC2B 6AN, United Kingdom. We will acknowledge within three business days. If we cannot resolve matters within eight weeks you may refer the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service free of charge.

Compensation

We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Mortgage advising and arranging is covered up to £85,000 per eligible claimant.

Risk warning
